The N6 Nippylink is a flexible demand responsive bus servuce which links Martock, South Petherton and South Petherton Hospital with the rural Parishes and communities listed on the service map.
Passengers can travel from any point within the shaded geographical area of the service map to either South Petherton, Martock or South Petherton Hospital and also from these three stages to any point inside the shaded area simply by phoning the booking line on 01935 823888.
For Example:
Mr Smith wishes to travel from Hambridge to South Petherton Hospital, having registered the previous day. He phones the booking line on 01935 823888 and arranges a pickup time. He then waits at the agreed pickup location and hails the Nippylink bus. Once all passengers have been collected the Nippylink bus then travels onto each of the three stages on demand - South Petherton, South Petherton Hospital, terminating in Martock to connect with the N9 'Martock Express' for onward travel into Yeovil.
The Nippylink N6 is free roaming with only an arrival/departure in Martock, this means that with the exception of the timetabled arrival and departure times it is able to travel out anywhere within the shaded area of the service map to collect or drop off passengers.
Each and every timetabled journey connects seamlessly with the N9 'Martock Express' service providing access to a regular service in and out of Yeovil from any point within the shaded geographical area of the service map. Through tickets are available.
For Example:
Mr Davies, from East Lambrook, wants to travel into Yeovil using both the N6 and N9 services. All he needs to do is phone the information line on (01935) 823888 and inform the controller of his destination, a pickup time will be agreed and the N6 Nippylink will pick him up and connect with the N9 service in Martock.
Returning from Yeovil all Mr Davies needs to do is catch the N9 service from the bus station and inform the driver he wishes to go back to East Lambrook and the N9 will then seamlessly connect with the N6 getting Mr Davies back home.
Inbound Service Pre booking required from any point within the shaded area of the service map for travel to Martock. (Including journeys to and from South Petherton and South Petherton Hospital). Bus arrives in Martock via Pinnacle (Alight here for Surgery) and terminates Marwin Close, Steppes Meadow to connect with Service N9 'Martock Express' for onward travel to Yeovil.
