The N8 Nippylink is our latest demand responsive (DRT) service, which connects many villages and communities with Yeovil.
At the heart of Nippylink is a regular direct service between Lakefields and Yeovil Borough. Passengers in outlying villages (coloured area shown on the map) wishing to travel into Yeovil, simply phone 01935 823888.
The Nippylink bus will collect you from a convenient point at an agreed time for travel into Yeovil.
For Example:
Mrs Smith wishes to travel from Lopen to Yeovil. She phones the information line on 01935 823888 and lets Nippybus know what time...
... she wishes to come into Yeovil and a pickup time is confirmed. She then waits at the agreed pickup location and hails the Nippylink bus. Once all passengers for the run are collected the Nippylink bus continues on to the scheduled service starting at Lakefields and then Mrs Smith waits until the bus terminates at Yeovil Borough.
For return journeys into the coloured DRT area, simply catch the Nippylink bus at any point on its timetabled section of the route. Confirm final destination with driver, relax and ride!
