Our new demand responsive (DRT) Nippylink services are designed to give flexible, safe and cost effective transport in and around rural communities.

Nippylink services have a core route between two or more villages where no booking is required. In addition to this scheduled route there is a much larger area of service in which Nippybus will travel out to collect or drop off passengers wishing to travel in or out of the scheduled route.

Linking many of the rural villages with the more prominent villages, each Nippylink service is designed to give passengers a reliable way of getting in and out of neighbouring urban areas.

Bookings on Nippylink can be taken up to 45 minutes before travel. First time users traveling from inside a DRT area must register at least the day before they use a Nippylink service.

The Registration section of our website contains all the information regarding registering on our system, no matter which service you wish to use.

Bookings do not need to be made for outbound journeys in DRT areas, just catch the Nippylink bus at any point on a scheduled route and confirm the final destination with the driver.
